DRIVEWAY expresses the pain and sorrow I felt going through my divorce. My goal is to share the song with divorced and separated fathers like you so you know you're not alone. I have found that after hearing DRIVEWAY divorced women are surprised that men feel so badly about not seeing their children daily. There's this myth that men are so strong that no one should be concerned for us and how we feel about divorce. They expect us to thrive living in our apartments away from our kids. I hope this song will help change that myth.

Wichita Woman
Scott Hall
With Wichita Woman I decided to explore what would happen if a woman had a spiritual awakening via UFO contact and how it would affect her partner.
When I was working as a psychic medium, I often had female clients who had partners that didn’t understand all of the metaphysical and spiritual stuff they were into. In most cases their partners felt a bit alienated from them. I imagined what would happen if a partner had their own experience.
I came up with the main riff for the verse on a three-string cigar box guitar. In fact, the whole song is played with three strings. As soon as I had that riff, I thought of the old 70’s song Wichita Lineman. And because I wanted the song to be about a woman, it became Wichita Woman.
The break pays homage to the movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind complete with musical communication from the UFO.
